Ecomama Farms is not a wedding venue that happens to have gardens. It is a working biodynamic farm that happens to host weddings — and the distinction matters. The roses in your ceremony bouquet were cut from these grounds that morning. The fruit on your dinner table came from the orchard fifty feet from the kitchen. The estate is alive in a way that most venues simply are not.

1,200 heirloom roses.

The Rose Garden is the centerpiece of the estate — both as a ceremony space and as the source of the florals that appear throughout every Ecomama wedding. Our collection of over a thousand heirloom rose varieties has been grown and cultivated on-site for years, producing blooms in a range of colors, forms, and fragrances that a floral wholesaler simply cannot match.

The Orchard.

Our passion for the land goes beyond our stunning rose gardens. Our orchard is a bountiful source of organic fruits. We cultivate a diverse range of fruits such as Apples, Peaches, Plums, Pomegranates, Almonds, Walnuts, Lemons, Apricots, Figs, Berries, and Cherries with utmost care and dedication, adhering to our biodynamic farming practices. Additionally, we nurture olive trees and craft our own cold-pressed olive oil.

Compost

At Ecomama, we aim to achieve zero waste by reusing and recycling everything we can. Our composting practices are a key part of this effort. 

Our compost is made from a combination of plant trimmings, animal waste, and organic matter, all from right here on the property. This nutrient-rich compost is used to nourish our gardens and orchards. Our compost is magical! It’s nutrient-dense and full of helpful microorganisms, and we use it seasonally to promote the healthy growth of our plants and replenishment of our soil. By turning waste into valuable resources, we maintain a closed-loop system that benefits both our farm and the environment. 

Wildlife

Our farm is a haven for wildlife. We have intentionally created habitats that support a diverse range of species, from birds and bees to butterflies and beneficial insects. These natural inhabitants play a vital role in pollination and pest control, helping to maintain the health and balance of our farm. By fostering biodiversity, we ensure a vibrant and resilient ecosystem that thrives year-round.

Eco-Conscious Structures

Our commitment to sustainability extends to the structures on our farm. We have built eco-conscious facilities that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. From our event venues to our on-site accommodations, each structure is designed with sustainability in mind. We use renewable materials, energy-efficient systems, and eco-friendly construction methods to minimize our environmental footprint.

Farm Animals

Our farm is home to a variety of animals, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, pigs, cats, and rescued animals. Our animals are cared for with the utmost respect and love, reflecting our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. Meet some of our animal friends:
